Description
A quiet winter landscape where the stillness of the land meets the gentle movement of the sea. Beneath the surface, a swirling shoal of fish gathers in slow, rhythmic circles, while two birds pass overhead and a solitary cottage sits sheltered beneath the hillside.
Inspired by the changing seasons along the British coast, this original ceramic artwork reflects the calm that can be found in wild places. It is a piece about returning to nature, slowing down and noticing the quiet beauty of the landscape.
Each artwork is individually hand drawn and carved using the traditional sgraffito technique, revealing layers of blue and white through hundreds of hand-cut lines. Every piece is completely original and will never be exactly repeated.
