All artwork is designed and created by Sarah Livingstone from her studio in Lancashire, UK.
 

Handmade Nature of the Work
Every piece is individually handmade and hand-decorated using the sgraffito technique.
As each item is made by hand, slight variations in colour, texture, size and finish are part of the character of the work and should not be considered defects.
Product photographs are intended to give an accurate representation, but colours may vary slightly between screens and devices.
 

Ordering
Orders are accepted subject to availability.
Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email confirmation. This does not constitute acceptance of the order. Acceptance takes place when your item is dispatched.
I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where necessary.
 

Prices
All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£).
Prices may be changed without notice, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
 

Payment
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the payment methods available on the website.
 

Delivery

I aim to dispatch orders within 7 days of purchase.

UK delivery costs are shown before you complete your order. Pieces are sent using an appropriate delivery service according to their size, weight and value.

If there is likely to be an unusual delay with your order, I will contact you.

International delivery

Please contact me before ordering if you require delivery outside the UK.

International customers are responsible for any local import duties, taxes or customs charges that may apply.

Packaging

Every piece is packed carefully and securely to protect it during delivery.

Where practical, I reuse clean packaging materials to reduce waste, alongside new protective packaging where this is needed to ensure your piece arrives safely.

Returns

I hope you are delighted with your purchase. If you change your mind about an item purchased online, please contact me within 14 days of receiving it to let me know that you wish to cancel your order.

You then have a further 14 days to return the item.

Please package returned work carefully and securely. For change-of-mind returns, the cost of returning the item is your responsibility. I recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured delivery service and keeping proof of postage.

Once the returned item has been received, I will refund the purchase price together with the cost of the standard delivery option originally offered. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, the additional delivery cost is not refundable.

A deduction may be made from the refund if the value of the item has been reduced by handling beyond what would reasonably be necessary to examine it.

Refunds will be made using the original method of payment.

Bespoke and personalised work

The normal change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to pieces that have been made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Damage in transit or faulty goods

I take great care when packing my work, but if your piece arrives damaged or you believe it is faulty, please contact me as soon as possible.

Photographs of the item and its packaging are very helpful when I am arranging a replacement or refund, so please send these if you are able to.

Where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, your statutory consumer rights are not affected and I will cover reasonable return costs where a return is required.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sarah Livingstone Ceramics shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products.
Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under UK consumer law.
