A humpback whale glides peacefully beneath a moving shoal of fish, surrounded by the quiet rhythm of the sea. Inspired by the ever-changing waters around the British coastline, this original ceramic artwork captures a moment of calm, strength and freedom.
Hand drawn and carved using the traditional sgraffito technique, each line is carefully cut through layers of blue and white slip, creating a richly textured surface that celebrates the movement of both sea and wildlife. Every piece is individually made by hand, ensuring that no two artworks are ever exactly alike.
